Styling advice wanted

I was wondering, are teddy coats still cool? I mean, I know they are a classic and will forever be a winter outwear option, but I always had mixed feelings about them. I love the cozy feeling they give and easiness to wear, but I 'm also "petite" so I am afraid a teddy will actually look on me like a bear :)) Must say the coloured ones are my favourites ( remember the turquoise ones by Max Mara, a few seasons ago?)
