București, 22 martie 2022. Iubitorii de modă din România pot accesa acum www.dressingz.com, primul social-marketplace pentru fashion de lux second hand, pentru a vinde sau cumpăra articole premium din garderobele personale.
300.000 EURO FINANŢARE
DRESSINGZ a strâns deja o primă rundă de finanțare pre-seed de 300.000 EUR și va opta pentru a doua rundă înainte de sfârșitul anului, țintind extinderea pe piața europeană. Fondatorii DRESSINGZ sunt Romina Tazlaoanu, cu peste 20 ani de experiență în marketing și branding, care a avut rolul de Head of Brand & Convergence la Vodafone și Alexandru Andries, partener fondator Car-Rush, EuCeMananc (acum Tazz by Emag), TaxaTimbru, MyJustice si EzStick.
DRESSINGZ oferă comunității sale de utilizatori posibilitatea de a-și vinde, printr-un proces ușor și sigur, hainele pe care nu le mai poartă. Totodată, le oferă șansa iubitorilor de branduri premium, de a cumpăra articole de lux pre-owned, autentificate de experți, la un preț cu pana la 80% mai mic față de prețul de retail. Un lucru îmbucurător pentru utilizatori, și în același timp important pentru planetă, cand ne uităm la imaginea de ansamblu.
O REALITATE TRISTӐ
Industria modei se află în top 3 cele mai poluante industrii de pe glob, din cauza risipei și a proceselor de producție dăunătoare. Este responsabilă pentru 10% din emisiile de gaze la nivel global, mai mult decât transportul aviatic și maritim împreună (Sursa: Serviciul de Cercetare al Parlamentului European 2017, ONU 2018).
Această statistică tristă a alimentat ambiția fondatorilor de a începe proiectul și de a se alătura tendinței internaționale de accelerare a circularității în fashion. Tendință este deja în expansiune pe piețele internaționale, unde luxul second-hand devine o nouă normalitate, atât din perspectiva sustenabilității, cat și a accesibilității articolelor de lux.
Romina Tazlaoanu, co-fondator DRESSINGZ: „Chiar dacă iubim moda, trebuie să fim conștienți de impactul pe care industria de fashion îl are asupra mediului. 50% din producția fast-fashion se aruncă în mai puțin de 1 an. Produsele premium pre-owned (sau pre-loved, cum, pe bună dreptate mai sunt numite) sunt o soluție sustenabilă și eficientă – atât pentru mediu, cât și pentru garderobele și bugetele userilor. MISIUNE. PROIECTE
DRESSINGZ își dorește să facă din misiunea socială un modus operandi, propunâdu-și pe termen lung să doneze 10% din profituri către cauze de susținere a mediului. Deși la început de drum, proiectele pe care le dezvoltă au deja o amprentă socială – un exemplu este popup store-ul celebrităților ‘RELOVED by You’ organizat luna trecută în București, cu participarea unor celebrități ca Mirela Bucovicean, Alexandru Abagiu, Ovidiu Buta, Cristina Craciun, Gabriela Atanasov, Silvia Cristescu sau Maria Marinescu. În urma evenimentului, 30% din încasări au fost donate către Crucea Roșie pentru susținerea poporului ukrainean.

CUM FUNCŢIONEAZӐ?
Procesul de vânzare al unui produs este foarte simplu, complet digitalizat și 100% securizat. Orice utilizator poate înscrie un articol spre vânzare pe platformă sau în aplicație, cu doar câteva clicuri, accesând www.dressingz.com sau aplicația DRESSINGZ. Completează un formular rapid și intuitiv, încarcă imagini (făcute cu smartphone-ul), completează prețul de listare și este gata de vânzare. Înainte însa de a fi listat pe site, articolul este verificat de experții DRESSINGZ, specializați în autentificare de lux, pe baza fotografiilor încărcate de utilizator. Unele articole, după ce sunt vândute, ajung la sediul DRESSINGZ pentru verificare fizică, înainte de a ajunge în mâinile cumpărătorului.
Vânzătorul expediază gratuit produsul vândut, accesând eticheta gratuită de transport (AWB) din contul său de pe platformă, iar curierul ridică pachetul în 24 de ore. Vânzătorul primește banii în aprox. 5 zile lucrătoare de la livrarea produsului.
EXPERŢII DRESSINGZ
Toate produsele de pe platformă sunt verificate de o echipa de specialiști cu experiență în branduri de lux. De asemeni, DRESSINGZ a încheiat un parteneriat extern, cu firma Luxury Appraisal & Authentication din Statele Unite, pentru verificarea autenticității produselor de lux încărcate de utilizatori.

A SAD FASHION REALITY
The fashion industry is in the top 3 most polluting industries around the globe, due to waste and harmful production processes. It is responsible for 10% of gas emissions globally, more than aviation and maritime transportation altogether (Source: European Parliament Research Service 2017, UN 2018).
This sad statistic has fueled the ambition to start this business and join the circular fashion trend. This trend is blooming in other markets, where pre-owned luxury is the new normal, as it is both planet and budget-friendly.

The company’s responsible mission is reflected in the day-to-day modus operandi, through its core business, but also in the long run, by its commitment to donate 10% of the profits to environmental causes. Equally, the company promises to stay socially aware and develop projects with social components (for example, the RELOVED by YOU famous dressings pop-up event, organized in Bucharest last month, where 30% of the revenues were donated to Crucea Rosie to support Ukrainian people).

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The process of selling or shopping is very simple, completely digitalized and 100% secured. Any user can submit an item for sale on the platform or through the APP, with just a few clicks, by accessing www.dressingz.com or DRESSINGZ app (available on both Google Play and Apple Store). They fill in a quick & intuitive article form, upload pictures (taken with the smartphone), fill in the price and it’s ready to go. Oh, one important detail: before appearing on the site, the item is verified by DRESSINGZ experts, specialized in luxury authentication, based on the photos submitted. When an item is sold, it can also go through a physical check & authentication, before getting in the hands of the buyer.
Buyers can make offers, the sellers can accept, reject or counter offer, with just a click. When the item is sold, the seller receives the free shipping label (AWB), which can be downloaded with a click, from his account. The courier comes to pick up the package and the seller gets the money in a maximum of 5 working days after the item is delivered.
