We are sadly saying goodbye to Tatjana Patitz, one of the most famous supermodels in the world in the '90s. Part of the iconic group of supermodels in George Michael's "Freedom!" video, she was an "exceptional beauty" and an "exceptional human being", as Corinne Nicolas, her agent of three decades, remembers her.
"Tatjana was always the European symbol of chic, as Romy Schneider-meets-Monica Vitti. She was far less visible than her peers - more mysterious, more grown-up, more unattainable - and that had its own appeal", said Anna Wintour.
"Who could ever forget those piercing eyes?" wrote Cindy Crawford in her memory. We will certainly not.
